What It Does
BotDesk connects to your Gmail inbox to help you respond to emails faster. When an email arrives, AI drafts a reply using your knowledge base—you just review and click Send.

Setup Steps
Step 1: Connect Gmail
- Go to Actions → Gmail in BotDesk
- Click "Sign in with Google"
- Select your Gmail account and grant access
Step 2: Set Rules
Define which emails to draft:
- All incoming emails
- From specific domains (e.g.,
@client.com) - Containing specific keywords
Step 3: Review Mode
By default, emails are saved as Drafts only—you must click Send.
For full automation, enable "Auto-Send" (recommended only after testing).
How It Works
- Email arrives in your inbox
- BotDesk analyzes the content
- AI drafts a reply based on your knowledge base
- Draft appears in your Gmail Drafts folder
- You review, edit if needed, and click Send
Security
- BotDesk uses restricted Gmail scopes
- We do not store your email content after processing
- Works with personal Gmail and Google Workspace accounts
- OAuth can be revoked anytime
Notes
- Long threads may be truncated due to AI context limits
- Best for high-volume, repetitive email support scenarios
